How much RAM does your android  smartphone really need in 2020,

So first we will understand what is   Ram and How it works

So how much RAM does your smartphone really need

Ram is a "Volatile" memory that we say random access memory meaning that it only maintains while it's receiving power. It's means once you turn off your smartphone on purpose or accidentally then all the loaded information of are lost,

Therefore there is also a permanent storage Called ROM and solid-state drive SDDs for saving all information,

The amount of Ram that you use in your smartphone is an important elements it decide how well your open apps or software will perform and all the information that your Os and application need to use while processing needs to available in Ram

Example, let's say a train is about to come on the platform (trail is like an apps) because it's an active elements and the train can not load it's pessenger without stopping on the platform,
Same as an application Need some space to load the all information so it can be accessed on the given command that has been sended by CPU and after Completing the access as the users turn off that application the storage will be free 
As  like the platform will be free after departure the train
Hardly you will use (3 to 4GB of RAM)

Now the question is why need more Ram
Very simple if you want to use multiple apps at a same time - means you are working on Different different task that's why you can't turn off any apps, therefore more space/ram is are required , that we say multitasking

But some questions still arising ?
using multiple apps means more CPU used so obviously CPU will drain more battery, now it's upto the individual that what are there uses,

BUT as per my opinion 6GB RAM is enough,
because we can use any apps without any interruption by turning off all Back Ground apps and by opening that particular apps on which we have to work if that application has required enough space.
